Opposite Day

Opposite Day is a common sport usually played by kids throughout the world. One might say that Opposite Day is to signify something that has already been said or is going to be said if not for its original context, then should be understood against its original concept. In this game the objective is to be the first player to bring an end to the current session, the current round and the current game. For this to happen, you have to make use of cards dealt in an alternating fashion, be it regular or upside down. The more you play, the more you learn how to control the game and gain advantage over your opponents.

Ukraine is a country of great diversity, traditions, and history, so it comes as no surprise that, on the twenty-first of July, the peoples of Ukraine would celebrate the Independence Day. It has been a part of Ukraine’s history since the revolution of 1918, when people came together regardless of their nationality or religion in order to defeat the invading Russian army. On this day many people take advantage of the opportunity to celebrate their nation. The cities of Kyiv, Lugansk, and Odesa are packed with people, both locals and foreigners, who take part in parades, street celebrations, sports events, and other cultural displays. Morse Code Day

Morse Code Day is celebrated on April 21 of each year. Morse code is an old way to send encoded text through an inter-type carrier, using a system of straight lines and curves which are indecipherable by a novice reader or broadcaster without specialist equipment. A Morse code operator (Morse code operator is often referred to as a ‘Morse code operator ‘) decoding the messages can be undertaken by anyone with some basic learning of the language and some simple equipment. The system was developed in the US by Adolphus Morse, who is generally acknowledged as being one of the forerunners of the telegraphic system. He was a very famous messenger and printer and contributed towards its development.
